
Prof. Aleksandra Luszczynska
Professor of Psychology, specializing in processes of health behavior change (e.g., psychosocial aspects of interventions promoting a healthy diet and physical activity) and psychosocial resources facilitating recovery in contexts of stress and illness. She is Senior Co-Editor of Health Psychology section of Social Science and Medicine. She has also been working as an editor or editorial board member for 7 journals in the area of health and clinical psychology. Her research has been continuously supported since 2009 (e.g., Horizon 2020, 7th Framework Program, Joint Programming Initiative – Healthy Diet for Healthy Life). She is the leader of the CARE-BEH.

Dr Anna Banik
Doctor of psychology, public health specialist. She is a postdoctoral researcher and co-investigator in national and European Commisson funded research projects. Her research field includes determinants of health behaviors, such as diet and physical activity, as well as predictors of the quality of life of people with chronic diseases. She is the Principal Investigator in a research project funded by the National Science Center, Poland, which aims to identify the role of psychosocial determinants of physical activity in youth and adults. She is the author of several publications and conference presentations.

Dr Dominika Kwasnicka
Post-doctoral Research Fellow; her research makes three key contributions to the field of health psychology, by: (1) Integrating theories of behaviour-change maintenance, investigating key predictors of maintained health behaviour-change; (2) Testing and advancing these theoretical predictors in systematically-developed studies and evidence-based interventions focusing on diet, physical activity, and weight loss maintenance; (3) Contributing to the development of novel research methods employing upcoming designs such as within-person N-of-1 studies using emerging technologies.
